"The Painting"

Corrine was asked to do a painting for stake youth conference.  The theme for youth conference is "The Restoration". After much deliberation, she decided to do a painting of a pioneer girl outside of the Kirtland Temple.  Here are a few of the steps in the month long process.

Corrine always uses people to model for her so she can get an idea of how she wants it to looks.

The entire process took a month. It was pretty intense sometimes.

Here are some final pictures.  None of them do this painting justice. If you would like to see it, she decided to enter it into the Bluffdale Arts show on June 22, 2018, 6:00pm at the Bluffdale City Building.

Good job Corrine! She took a very beginner art class a couple of years ago, but that is all she has had. Corrine starts a watercolor class next week.
