Corrine is 18!!

Corrine is 18!!!  In reality, it feels like she has been 18 for about a year.... but now we can officially say she is 18. Because its kind of a big deal to be 18, I decided to embarrass the heck out of her and look back over the last 18 years. If you don't want to see a disgusting amount of pictures, that's ok. But, you will be missing out.  The first group is "the many moods of Corrine." Actually there aren't many.  She is either happy with you, or she isn't. Corrine is pouting in this picture because we had just taken her binki out of her mouth seconds before.
She isn't very good at hiding her feelings.

These are rare moments when Corrine and Jakob were getting along. They went through this stage for about 15 years where I thought they were going to kill each other. Thankfully, they are best friends now!
Corrine has had a very strong sense of fashion and style from very early on. I mean that with no sarcasm at all. She has a talent for knowing what looks good. It doesn't matter what she is wearing, she is always very cute.
She pulls off the 80's costume nicely.
Humm? Where will she go to college? Actually we don't know, but it's nice to know she and Auntie Julie love each other despite differences.
When she is comfortable with you, Corrine is very happy and accepts you into "her people". When you can crack that wall, you are in for life! Corrine has had amazing friends that I will always be grateful for. Most of her very best friends are in these pictures.
She has always taken good care of Sariah.
Corrine is so good to work hard.  She is not afraid to get dirty and learn new things.
She hates this picture of her with the cow but it always amazes me. Corrine is willing to do what ever needs to be done, no matter how hard or scary or gross.

If you are still reading this, you need to know that for a homeschooler and a homeschool mom, being 18 is kind of a big deal. We don't really celebrate high school graduation because, well, there isn't one! We tend to mark things by the kids ages and not really their grades. Let the disgusting celebration of Corrine continue: Corrine has also worked hard at school and developing her talents. She is crazy talented!
She has been a great example to me of gaining a testimony and doing what is right. She works so hard in church responsibilities, she goes to the temple just about every week, she did special needs mutual, and she helps with OUR.  I know, Im bragging now. But its crazy how awesome she is.
The girl is tough. She loves her black belt.
She also loves weapons. About a year ago, she found out she can get a provisional concealed carry permit when she turns 18. She is a very focused and determined kid.
While she loves weapons, she also loves babies. She will be such a great mom some day!
We love you Corrine! Thank you for being such a blessing in our family.

We are so excited to see what the future holds. It is wide open and is yours to go get! That 18 years went so fast! Im not crying.
