The Graduate

Because we homeschool, graduation ceremonies aren't exactly a big deal. In fact, they are non-existent.  When Jakob completed his high school education,  he paraded around the house playing the Star Wars theme. Today, Jakob graduated seminary. The stake had an actual ceremony! It was a very nice thing to attend.  Corrine also got recognition for completing 9th grade seminary. Here are my two religiously trained kiddos.

Since we didn't do a "graduation" picture with Jakob, Keith and I, we decided we had better do one for seminary graduation.

Wait..... there is no actual certificate!  We were told the bishop will give him the "real" one in a couple of weeks when seminary is officially finished. (he still has 4 classes)

I think the entire family is feeling the impending loss of Jakob.  The kids were a little extra clingy to him today. My boys.

Kate LOVES Jakob. Please ignore her face. My 3 year old is growing a beard.... or she had brownies at the graduation ceremony.

Congratulations Jakob! We are proud of the young man you have become. We are excited to see the things you will accomplish in the future!
