Happy Birthday Keith

We are officially into birthday season! Keith is busy doing robots as well, but we were lucky to have him home on his birthday! We have been addicted to watching The Great British Bake Off..... some people are getting pretty good about expressing their opinions in British accents. Somehow, its easier to say rude things but sound nice with a British accent. Anyway, Keith decided we needed "more meats in our bakes" so Corrine made little meat pies for birthday dinner. We all did our best at deciding if they were all uniform size and Keith tapped the bottom. Corrine was very worried she would have a "soggy bottom."  Thankfully, she did not and she won top baker for the day.  These were so tasty!

Because Corrine was making meat pies, I was left with the cake. It didn't go as well. No top baker for me. I finally decided I needed help so Kate did the cake decorating!

Keith has been working on a rain catching system. Because his robots coaching gig has started, he no longer has time to work on the rain project. Jakob and Corrine decided to finish it up for him!  What good kids! They got it done, and they didn't even fight with each other.  What a nice birthday gift!

Keith was, shall we say... spoiled? Corrine got him a Star Wars pillow he has wanted. He also got a food dehydrator... not for food though. He has a machine that washes gun parts, but then they are all wet and wet gun parts are no bueno. So, now he can move them to the dehydrator and know they will be nice and preserved for many years to come.

Keith has also needed some new tools for projects. Lucky guy!
