Post Halloween Tradition

I do not feel like we we have a ton of traditions. One activity we have decided that needs to be a tradition is the SHOOTING OF THE PUMPKINS tradition. Things have been very busy for us since Halloween, but we finally got some time to go out and take care of the halloween pumpkins. Everyone got to color/decorate their pumpkin.  It is only fair that each person got to take part in the destruction of their pumpkin.  This time I'll start with the oldest. Jakob is a very good shot and very comfortable with guns.

His pumpkin was not as comfortable when he finished with it.
Corrine is scary accurate with her little pink cricket.  She calls it kindness... ya know, kill em with kindness.  She is a great shot.  She is also getting too big for this gun. Its time to hand it down to Sariah.
Sariah is becoming a very good shot as well.

Harry Potter thought he had problems with "he who shall not be named."  He had no idea his demise would come about by a pink gun.
Hayden loves to shoot the bb gun.  He needs a lot of supervision.  He is learning to do a good job with out help aiming or even loading the gun.
Kate loves to shoot.  It is very concerning. She knows she needs to "pull the trigger to go boom!"
She also liked "shooting mommies gun".
Keith came in as the clean up crew and took care of any remains.
We all voted that this is a great tradition and we need to continue with it. We also decided the pumpkins make great targets. They are fun to shoot at. Guts can explode. There is visual evidence of destruction. They are also bio degradable.
I wish I could make two hats looks this cute. We were so cold, but had so much fun!
