4-wheeling

It was such a nice weekend for the middle of October... or any time for that matter. We decided to take the kids out 4-wheeling one more time before the weather got bad. We went with some good friends of ours, the Nyes. We met them in Tooele and went out to Knolls. It was a long drive... but well worth it. Because we went on a Friday, there were only 3 -4 other groups of people. It was so nice to be out there basically alone. If you haven't been out there, (and you like 4-wheelers) you need to go. Its basically sand dunes and lots of trail rides in the same place. This is Jakob, Corrine, & Sariah on their 4-wheelers.



Hayden loves to ride 4-wheelers. He also loves to dig in the sand.



This was a big dried up lake bed. We figure it was about 6 miles long. It was so fun to ride in because it was just so big and open. We could really get the 4-wheelers going fast!




Sariah has the smallest and wimpiest 4-wheeler of them all. Its a good thing, really. She got it going 27 miles per hour at one point.



We rode out as far as we could go, and found a fence with a sign on it telling us we would be bombed if we went on the other side of the fence. How do the bombs know which side of the fence we are standing on? It was a little unnerving.



Because Sariah maxed out her 4-wheeler going out to the fence, it decided it was not going to work going back. This is Keith testing her 4-wheeler. One of many tests. He finally gave up and I towed her back to camp.




Can anyone be more cool than Hayden on a 4-wheeler?



Corrine was so scared to try this on her 4-wheeler. Honestly, so was I. After sliding once, she got back and tried again. She did it and she was so proud of her self for whipping around that little track. I did not overcome my fear and get in there. Nope. No way.

We really enjoyed the day. So much so, that we stayed out till it got dark. We usually come home for dinner, but this time we just stayed and played as long as we could.
