Somewhere in the middle of all of our fun, Hayden had a birthday! He is now officially 14, although it feels like he has been 14 for a year or two. He worked most of the day, so we had a little cake and ice cream when he got home from work. I guess thats what happens when you get old!
He got a lot of candy, and A LOT of Magic the Gathering cards. I don't get it, but he is happy.
Uncle Mike has been a mentor teaching Hayden to make homemade cinnamon rolls. You need a good hand mixer for this project and apparently my 25 year old mixer doesn't quite cut it. So, Mike and Julie got Hayden a mixer for his birthday! He was very clear that it is HIS and Im not to touch.
Happy Birthday Hayden. Sounds like you are all grown up. You worked on your birthday and you got a mixer.
