There are so many thing we enjoy doing while in Michigan! Some of our favorite Michigan things are playing the baby grand piano.
We also love spending time with cousins. Mike and Julie came up with a Midland City Scavengar Hunt. We were divided into teams. Mike was the captain of TEAM TEENS. They thought they had the winning team.
Julie was the captain of TEAM LITTLE KIDS. We KNOW we had the winning team.
We had to do different things like run around the track at the high school. Order bread sticks or find buttons a JoAnns. A completed task was worth 5-10 points.
The hardest part of the scavenger hunt was getting the 135 point task. Team little kids got it. Apparently running a yellow light is WORSE than running a red light. If you are in Michigan... stop at a green just to be safe. Apparently, in Utah, its ok to run a yellow light and maybe even 2-3 cars can sneak through on a red. NO SO in Michigan. Just consider yourself warned. Yellow means red. The 135 points is strangely the same number of $$ the ticket cost.
For the record, that was NOT one of our favorite things in Michigan. Another NOT favorite was this.
Hayden was showing Samuel how he is practicing to jump the grand canyon on a scooter. Sadly, he needed stitches just below his eye. It was a miracle he didn't do damage to his eye.
Samuel was so nice to come to the doctor with us and give moral support. What a good cousin!
Another thing we love to do in Michigan is ride bikes to the Cottage Creamery. This place has the best ice cream and they like to dish up LOTS of it. We may have gone twice... and wanted to go more.
We also enjoyed an evening listen to Anna play in her marching band. We LOVED Uncle Mikes famous cinnamon rolls. We also had fun making stick bombs.
Thank you Mike and Julie for all of the fun in Michigan. We enjoyed ourselves and we can't wait to see you again!
