Ramblings and happenings

We have been busy doing something. Im not sure what. I guess its a good thing I do the blog. Maybe I can look back and see what I was busy doing. Or maybe the kids can look back and I can say "see, we did that one fun thing.... once."  Hayden, Sariah, and Corrine had their summer piano recital last week. The kids worked so hard and they did great on their songs.  It was a very fun recital.

 Kate trying to be quiet. She did pretty good considering the recital was at bed time. With no bottle.

 

 Here is the group of those that played. Jakob is in the back. For the record, he did not play.  His recital is next week. He just really likes Betsy and Clark and wants to go back to the good ole days.

The kids with their piano teacher, the fabulous Betsy Fox.  The kids love her. Most of the time. Im not sure what the deal is with Haydens face. Is this the "Im too cool for this "pose?  

I think these kids are cute.  Hayden has an ice cube in his mouth. Its not an eyeball. Well, Im pretty sure its an ice cube. I like Kates smile in this.  She NEVER smiles for the camera.

This is Kate with her first Popsicle. For the record, she enjoyed it. She also enjoyed the bath right after.

We have had unusually warm weather. The kids decided they wanted to sleep in the tent in the back yard. Im glad they think its fun. The old, mean, mommy in me does not think its fun.

There wasn't much sleeping. Sorry to my neighbors.

Keith got the game Plants VS Zombies. This was the pre-church ritual last week. I guess bonding is a good thing.
