Halloween

On Friday the 29th, we went to a Halloween party. The kids carved pumpkins and sadly, I think it was the first time they have ever done that. They had fun except for the "icky" parts. Sariah refused to pull the guts out. Hayden loved pulling the guts out. Must be a guy thing.





We spent the 30th with the Cain cousins while Keith helped grandma and grandpa Cain move. The cousins had fun together. We only trick or treated 4 houses because it was so very cold and raining off and on. We bought off the kids by giving them the candy my mom and sister had bought for trick or treaters. The kids ate spider cupcakes and watched a movie. It was such a crazy weekend! Jenny had her baby on Friday as well, so we got to play with Natalie and Lily while Nathaniel and Jenny were at the hospital.






The 31st was on Sunday. We had grandma and grandpa Schramm come over for dinner. We got a "rocket" stove or Stove Tech and decided to to try it out. So, we warmed up some water and made hot chocolate. It worked great! It was kind of fun to play with it. The idea behind the stove is that it can cook your food using very little fuel.
