We had so much fun at the zoo. The weather was nice and the animals were awake and so active. We really did enjoy it!
On Wednesday, we went to a car show at a local burger place. They kids really had fun looking at the cars and Jakob and Keith were "bonding" over types of engines and things.
This picture of Sariah is one Im saving for her dating years and to show at her wedding. It screams Sariah. CLASSIC.
On Thursday, Keiths work had take your kid to work day. So, Jakob and Corrine got to go to work with Keith. They have decided two things. First, his office is messy. Second, he gets paid too much to eat donuts, look on the Internet, and play games. (Thats what they got to do... they are pretty sure thats what he does all day) They even got to do a teleconference with some kids at their Woodland Hills, CA building. They thought that was so much fun. I thought the eight years old and older policy was a bit of a rip off. I totally think the 5 year old and the 1 year old should have gone. That would have been the best day ever.
Last, but not least, Jakob has finished Cub Scouts. My baby is growing up. Jakob got every possible award in cub scouts. He was able to get his Arrow of Light a couple of months ago, and he got a special award for getting everything done. He loves Cub Scouts but is so very excited to start working toward his Eagle. His very last pack meeting was the pinewood derby. As always, that is the funnest pack meeting of them all. This year they let family members run a car if they wanted to and so the girls made a car. The girls were as much fun to watch as the cars were. They laughed and squealed with the best of them. And, they didn't do too bad. It was a lot of fun.
