Rains came down

We have been living in a major drought. At least, that's what they say. We have been praying and fasting for rain. Well, ask and ye shall receive. WE GOT RAIN. 

We had so much rain, we found ourselves with what could be a large fish tank in the window well. 

It's not as cool as it sounds. Turns out, window wells were not supposed to be fish tanks. We had water pouring into the guest room.... where we had a guest staying. Thankfully, Anna was our guest and she is a real trooper. She got right to work helping us cleaning up from the flood. She also helped our neighbors for several hours. Water also got into Corrines room. Anna saved it and now I'll work on putting it back together.

Sariah bailed water outside in the cold wet weather at our house and our neighbors house for HOURS. She was freezing cold. It took her a while to get warmed up. 

We had so much water for so long. The next morning I called around and found the very last dehumidifier in the entire valley.

It is going to take a while for me to muster enough energy to put things back together again. It will probably happen a day or two before Corrine comes home if I'm being totally honest.
