Easter

Happy Easter! We went to the traditional Schramm Easter Egg Hunt at grandmas house on Saturday morning. The kids look forward to this every year. There are always lots of cousins and lots of candy. Whats not to like? The kids also like to climb grandmas fruit trees.

The Easter egg hunt is all about the candy. I told Jakob he was too old for the egg hunt. Keith told him that if he was too old for the egg hunt, he was too old for candy. This is Jakob doing what a guy has to do to get some candy. The basket just adds insult to injury. Or, it proves a teen-age boy will do anything for candy.
Corrine is an expert hunter now.
Sariah LOVES this activity. Maybe I should hide candy around the house.  If they actually cleaned, they would find candy. No one would ever find the candy by the broom or the toilet brush.
Hayden loves this game.  He gets to run.  He gets candy. He gets to eat candy.
This is Kates first Easter.  She did not participate in the Easter egg hunt.  We figured since she can't walk and can't eat candy she wouldn't know or care. She did look cute the entire day. And, with those cheeks, I don't think she needs the candy anyway.

Here are some of the cousins after the hunt. There are A LOT more cousins, but these are the ones that were at grandmas.  Good job Easter bunny, good job!
Here are my lovely children on Sunday, Easter morning in their nice Easter church clothes. They clean up pretty good, don't they?  I think they are pretty cute.  Happy Easter!
